The field research for Timeframe formed a true therapy as I had to analyse the colours of the sky every day. I have been outside and active so much that the prior stage of this project was a true relief of tension and thought. The sky, how it presents itself almost every day, truly mesmerised me.
I wanted to create a way to create a healthy indoor space and after some time in thought I realised that everything we see in nature is dependent on light. Without light, no life, so light and colour must be of a crucial importance. Why are we indoor so much and shouldn’t we change our indoor life then? What influence has this indoor society on our biological processes?
The result of this inspiration was project Timeframe | a clock that works in relation to natural light and our biological clock. Other than that I created Day & Light | a lamp that works with both the reflection of natural light and artificial light.
